At the joint breakfast in the Überseestadt district, not only did we make new contacts, have interesting discussions and celebrate the sporting successes of the German Chair Hockey Masters, but it was the handover of donations for such a great project that took centre stage. 7,500 euros were collected for the committed team at „Balu und Du”. With their extraordinary concept, the association supports children, who will be especially looking forward to getting more attention: young, committed people volunteer to individually sponsor a child for at least one year. Through personal commitment and active leisure activities, they help these children to develop in our society and learn how to successfully master the challenges of everyday life.

 

Claudia Fantz and Leonie Wollenhaupt from "Balu und Du" in Bremen reported on their heart project and explained to us how the money will be used. This means: we will be able to provide a number of fantastic new experiences for kids of primary school age.
