Waste becomes green electricity for Marinetech

By using waste to generate electricity and heat, we not only conserve fossil resources, but also the environment and climate.

Our green electricity is generated at swb's Bremen Mittelkalorik power plant (MKK). Household waste and commercial waste serve as fuels. Medium calorific - this means that primarily a mixture of paper, plastic, wood and packaging residues that can no longer be recycled materially is used to generate energy. Sorting residues from commercial waste sorting plants and mechanical-biological waste treatment plants. Medium calorific value has a comparatively high calorific value and thus combines the necessary reduction of pollutants with highly efficient and CO₂-neutral energy generation.
