Dennis Spizin has been a successful part of the D-A-CH team at Marinetech since the beginning of the year and is responsible for large parts of the German market. He looks after customers in eastern, western and south-western Germany - including Dresden, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt and Mannheim - in the zip code areas 01000-09999 and 40000-69999. When he joined the company, he took over existing sales structures and is working continuously to develop and expand them.


The successful switch is not all that surprising - Dennis Spizin is familiar with the professional field. His successful start is primarily due to his extensive professional experience as well as his skills as an amateur sportsman and team player. “Whether on the pitch or on the job, it's all about taking on challenges, creating networks and strengthening team cohesion.”
The parallels between sport and business are a real added value for Dennis - and a constant motivation to get the best out of himself.

 

Before moving to Marinetech, he worked as a sales coordinator and branch manager in the fields of pipeline construction, shipbuilding, plant construction and the chemical industry. Dennis Spizin is therefore very much at home in the sectors served by Marinetech. He describes himself as “a businessman who can also lend a hand, with a sound logistical and commercial education.”


Despite his extensive industry experience, starting at Marinetech was challenging - particularly due to the enormous variety of products and depth of the range. "I was really surprised at how wide and deep the range is - it can be a bit overwhelming at first. 
But with the catalog and the support of my colleagues, I was very well supported."


In recent months, Dennis Spizin has focused on getting to know the products, internal processes and systems, as well as expanding personal contacts with existing and new customers. Here he was able to draw on his field service experience: "You simply find out more in direct discussions on site. This not only strengthens customer loyalty, but also creates trust - and that is exactly what is particularly important to me: honest, open communication at eye level." This proximity to the customer is a clear advantage, especially in highly competitive sales areas.


In addition to his work, as a father of two he also encounters Marinetech products time and again in his everyday life, e.g. on the playground: “Whether swing chains, swivel shackles or eyebolts - it's nice to see how our products reliably do their job there.”
