Schools, daycare centers, parents, children and local initiatives from the region have lovingly put together over 2,000 parcels for children in Eastern Europe. For many of the little recipients, it is the first Christmas present of their lives - a moment of joy in difficult times.

Over 2,000 parcels from the region found their way through the Marinetech sorting halls and pallet stations to the Christmas parcel convoy, which set off for Eastern Europe on November 30, 2024 with a total of 147,323 parcels from all over Germany towards Eastern Europe. The convoy - 33 trucks, 6 buses, 10 escort vehicles and 260 volunteers - took the presents to remote mountain valleys and villages in Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine, where people live in particularly difficult conditions.

Incidentally, the campaign has been running for over 20 years and is sure to continue in 2025. It shows how charity can have a big impact - for the recipients and the helpers. Especially in a year full of challenges, this convoy was a strong sign of solidarity and hope.
